In 1982, Mike and Jodie had an itch that needed to be scratched. So, with some skeptical blessings from their parents, a small, seasonal rental shop was formed. Early to realize that there is always a silver lining, they spent the summer of ’84 rebuilding their dream after a gnarly fire on New Years day burnt the building to the ground.

Things remained steady until 1989, when snowboarding came onto the scene. Our snowboard selection in 1990 included 6 boards. Since then, we have remained true to the sport, as well as keeping our priorities high. Customer service, quality product, and growing with the sport is what we’re all about. We’ve maintained these ideals for 24 years, and will continue to grow with the fast paced industry. If our years of hard work have taught us anything, it is that we’re doing something right.

For us, going to the shop is more than simply going to work everyday. It is our passion, our dedication to Ellicottville and the advancement of the sport. Owned and operated by a local family, we have cultivated a great relationship with Holiday Valley. Props to them for their commitment to help us get to where we are today, and we know that we couldn’t have done it without them.
